First Vacation Together {Washington State}

We went on our first vacation together, to Washington. Mainly to spend time with his brother Paul, and his family. Karen, my mother in law had also gone to Washington, about a week before us. We left our house the night of August 16th, and headed to the airport!! I cannot stand being late for much, and find myself always being super early. We get to the airport with a little less than 2 hours to spare, and i am freaking out. Little did I know how HANDY my husband being MVP Gold, could be. We got to go RIGHT through the entire security line, not only that, but we were one of the firsts able to board our flight. Pretty Awesome.

The next day, we headed to Sun Lakes Resort for the remainder of our vacation. It was basically camping at a huge lake! The water was warm and we had a blast Jet Skiing and tubing. And had good quality family time!

When we got to the airport, we upgraded ourselves to first class! Cut through all the lines, found a Wendys and relaxed. We had a wonderful vacation! :)

Our Wedding!

On April 29, 2012 I married the most amazing man EVER!! Our wedding was beautiful!! I was so happy with the turn out and even happier that even on such short notice My Dad, Jimmy's Dad, My Mom, & My Sister were all able to be here for our big day!!! I couldnt be happier! Here is a little wedding preview.

Rehearsal

Today is the day of our rehearsal! YAY! Tomorrow I will be a married woman! We had our rehearsal at Shanelle's dance studio. It was small, but it worked! It took a while to get everything worked out. People were busy talking and not really paying attention, but hey! Hopefully everyone got it out today so that were all focused on the big day tomorrow! Not only that but today is the first day in YEARS  my parents have been in the same room together, and practically forced to get a long, and not only that, but my grandparents were there as well. Awkward but soon i forgot all about their drama. My mom did an awesome job at making things go great. She put us all in order and really was amazing help. After the rehearsal we went to cheppo's for dinner!

My Dad & his wife Beth came up to visit for my wedding weekend. The Friday & Saturday before the wedding we went sight seeing to Hatchers Pass & Matanuska Glacier. We had A TON of fun!!!

Arriving home Christmas New Years

December 4, 2011 I arrived back home in Alaska to the most amazing man I have ever met!! That was the first day of the rest of our life! I went to Arizona looking for a new start in my life. I had a lot of great experiences traveling, but nothing compares to home!

December 24, 2011 We went to Aunt Ruthie's house for presents and dinner. Grandma was there Aunt Ruthie, Uncle Silvio, Jimmy, Me, Gina, & Of course Thor. Everyone had a good time opening their presents and just spending good quality time together. We waited for a few hours for Jesse & Anthony to show up but around 930 we needed to get grandma home so she could get some sleep. Every year my uncle always gets me and least one thing Chicago Bears. This year he got me a santa hat that was Navy Blue & Orange. I also got a book series that I had been wanting, and 100 dollars for shopping :) Jimmy got a 5th of Crown! Here are a few pictures from that night! 

Christmas Night ( December 25, 2011) we spent with Jimmy's family. We went to his brother Aj's where all of his family went also. We hung out, ate great food, and watched football. The Bears and Packers were playing. The Bears lost :( No good! It was a great night, and Jimmy & My first Christmas together. Im really looking forward to next Christmas with his amazing family! No pictures were taken that night with all the excitement.

New Years Eve was spent at Jimmy's sister Suzy's house. It was a blast! Also, was freezing outside! His family has awesome get together's and everyone is good company! I drank a little and went on my first snow machine ride although it was extremely short due to the cold, for Jimmy at least. I was good due to Suzy letting me borrow her warm snow gear! There was a fire outside and we kept going back and forth. Jimmy lost his "man" card through tons of joking with Aj. There were awesome fireworks and then home for bed!

A month of excitement and loss

January 15, 2011 we found out we were expecting. That was amazing! I had been having symptoms for over a week, but the first pregnancy test I took a week prior to this day was negative but my symptoms kept   getting more and more obvious. Jimmy's mom Karen was the first to know she was so excited! She wanted to tell everyone right away. Meanwhile, i was overwhelmed and nervous. I texted Jimmy a picture of the test because he was out of town for work at the time. After i sent that text, the excitement hit. We were both OVERJOYED! to say the least!

January 28, 2011 was the beginning of  probably one of the worse weeks of my life. The bleeding started and i went to the hospital. There i was told my hormone levels were normal and my cervix was closed. Baby was fine. Also, they had taken my blood. Come to find out, my blood time is AB- which means that my blood type does not agree with my baby's so i needed a shot of Rhogam. They gave it to me and I was on my way. The next night, i had a lot more blood. Again, i went to the ER. There they took my blood again. The bad news hit after waiting and waiting. My hormone levels had went from 1588 to 1488. Dr said to expect the worse and prescribed some pain meds " just in case" Monday the pain hit and, sadly, my pregnancy had ended. This was a very sad and depressing week that i hope to never have to endure again.

Super Bowl, Bennihanas, & A New Job!

February 5th was SUPERBOWL! We went to Jimmy's sisters house again for an awesome super bowl party! Shanelle made a Edible Stadium, I made my awesome guac, and Karen made Sliders. Lots of food, Lots of fun, lots of football! The game was between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. And the winner is:

February 9th was a great night with great friends! Meggan  & Rodney as well as their family! We all went to Bennihanas for Veyah and Ty Ty's Bday! We had a great time, with great food, and AMAZING people! 

Tea Party during Training week with Kathy 

February 13 was my first day at my new job! Alaska Rim Enginnering hired me as their Administrative Assistant. I was so happy. Its an amazing job and i work with great people. Its also a great feel of independence for me, and i love contributing!
